Positions of the planets in our Solar System and their orbits around the Sun.
The zoomed section the above image presents the current orbits positions of the planets in the inner Solar System. Those are the planets closer to its center: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. They are located between the Sun and the Asteroid Belt.
The planets from the outer Solar System are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Their orbits are much bigger and away from our Sun.
The second image does not show the actual, current situation of the planets in our Solar System, but it gives a conception of the differences in their orbits around the Sun.
