3 days liquid diet

Three days Moon diet, kept once monthly at Full Moon or at New Moon, is a popular short-term "liquid" diet. The 3-days lunar diet is an easy way to try loosing some extra weight without living on the starvation line for many days or weeks.

Moon and liquids

Liquids on our planet, including the liquids in our human body, are strongly influenced by the lunar tidal cycles, caused by gravitational (tractive) force of the Moon - Earth's natural satellite.

Full Moon and New Moon

This monthly tidal rhythm is a natural catalyst of vital human metabolic processes. Because the strongest tidal forces are at Full Moon and New Moon (called spring tides), we choose these phenomena to promote movement of fluids in human body by our healthy effective weight loss diet.

Fresh food and liquids

First base concept of this 3 days lunar nutrition regimen is to have much liquids and fresh or near-fresh food. Spring or low mineral water (no soda) and fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices are the best choice. Variety of different drinks are possible: herbal or green tea, iced mint tea, fresh strained citron juice or cup of hot water with lemon and a spoon of honey. Bad idea is having alcohol, bubble drinks, coffee, salt and sugar.

Fresh quality and taste

The second important diet concept is preparing the food the way it preserves fresh quality and taste, and not overdoing it with spices. It should consist primary of fruits and vegetables. Good choice are carrots, cabbage, zucchini, celery, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. For food flavouring, may be used some extra virgin olive oil and some apple vinegar, no salt.

Following both base concepts of the 3 days lunar diet, one may choose its own food list, but below is an example three-days menu.

1st day menu

  • After awakening: water and juice from half an orange
  • Breakfast: yoghurt and an apple
  • Late breakfast: juice from orange and lemon
  • Lunch: vegetable juice
  • Afternoon snack: herbal tea (with honey)
  • Dinner: citrus juice
  • Before sleep: herbal tea

2nd day menu

  • After awakening: water and juice from half an orange
  • Breakfast: green tea or herbal tea (with honey)
  • Late breakfast: juice from orange and lemon
  • Lunch: vegetable juice
  • Afternoon snack: herbal tea (with honey)
  • Dinner: apple puree
  • Before sleep: herbal tea

3rd day menu

  • After awakening: green tea
  • Breakfast: yoghurt and banana puree
  • Late breakfast: grapefruit juice
  • Lunch: vegetable juice and juice of two oranges
  • Afternoon snack: herbal tea (with honey)
  • Dinner: banana
  • Before sleep: herbal tea

After the diet

Keeping the lost weight and results after the end of 3 days Moon diet, is by betting on light and fresh foods. Stew or cook on steam. Avoid fried foods, but have cooked or baked meals instead.
