Hinode - Solar-B

Hinode (Sunrise) formerly known as Solar-B, is a Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency Solar mission( JAXA) with United States and United Kingdom collaboration. Hinode observed magnetic fields of the sun and round out our knowledge of the mechanisms, that power the solar atmosphere and drive solar eruptions.

Hinode carries three main instruments to study the Sun: Solar Optical Telescope (SOT), X-ray Telescope (XRT) и Extreme-Ultraviolet Imaging Spectrometer (EIS).

Last X-ray image of the solar radiation captured by X-ray telescope. XRT react to the hottest components of the solar corona between half and 10 million K.
